1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Minimal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Minimal is a personal budgeting and expense tracking application. It allows you to manually record transactions, create budgets, manage wallet accounts, and import bank statements for personal financial management.

The App is a personal finance tool, not a financial advisor, bank, or licensed financial service. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance.

3. User Accounts

You may use the App without an account (offline mode). To enable cloud sync across devices, you must create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. User Data & Responsibilities

All financial data in the App is entered by you manually or imported from files you provide
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
The App does not connect to your bank accounts or access your financial accounts in any way
Bank statement files you import are processed entirely on your device

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's infrastructure
Interfere with or disrupt the App's services
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App to store data unrelated to personal finance management

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy or reliability of financial calculations
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Security of data beyond reasonable industry measures

You acknowledge that the App is a budgeting tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of financial record-keeping.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or financial records
Inaccurate calculations or budget tracking
Service interruptions or downtime
Unauthorized access to your account

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
